Our independence policy
A directory is only useful if you can trust who is on it, and why.
What funds us
Work With China is funded by experts who subscribe to use the platform, by clearly labelled sponsored placements, and by buyers who choose paid matching. Payment never affects whether an expert is accepted or which verification level they receive.
Our commitments
- No commission. We do not take a cut of what you pay an expert, so we have no reason to steer you.
- Paid placement is labelled. Sponsored listings carry a visible Sponsored label, separate from the verification badge.
- Verification is not for sale. Levels are decided by our review alone. See how we verify.
- No rankings, no scores. We curate; we do not sell positions in a league table.
- Reviews stay up. We do not delete negative reviews. See our review policy.
How to tell
A Sponsored expert can be Listed, Verified or Featured. The badge always shows the real level, and the Sponsored label only means the expert paid for visibility.
